Sessions can be relaxed and candid, more polished and editorial, or a mix of both. We'll choose a Kingston location that fits the look you're going for and I'll provide direction throughout the session, so you don't need to worry about knowing how to pose.
Engagement sessions are also a great opportunity to create photos that feel like you before the wedding. For surprise proposals, we can plan the location and timing ahead of time so I can photograph the moment without giving away the surprise.
From downtown Kingston and waterfront locations to parks, rural settings and seasonal sessions, we'll build the shoot around the atmosphere you want and create images that capture your connection naturally.

Couples Photography
Couples sessions are relaxed and built around the two of you. We can photograph your session outdoors around Kingston, at home, or in the studio depending on the look and atmosphere you're going for.
I'll help with location ideas, outfits and planning before the shoot, and provide direction throughout the session. You don't need to know how to pose. We'll use a mix of natural interaction and guided poses to create photos that feel comfortable and genuine.
Both mini and full couples sessions are available, with the main difference being the approximate session length and number of finished photos included. Sessions aren't timed down to the minute, so there's room to relax, move between poses and get the variety we need.

Couples Date Experience
Turn your photoshoot into part of the date. A Couples Date Experience combines relaxed photography with an activity you can actually enjoy together, creating more opportunities for natural moments and genuine interaction.
Your session could include a picnic, grabbing ice cream or coffee, exploring downtown Kingston, spending time by the waterfront, or another activity that feels like the two of you. I'll photograph a mix of candid moments and lightly guided portraits along the way.

Before the session, we'll work out the location, timing and where I'll be positioned so you know exactly what to expect. Proposal sessions can be photographed discreetly from a distance or incorporated into what appears to be a regular couples photoshoot.
After the proposal, we'll use some time for portraits together so you come away with both the moment itself and photos celebrating your engagement.
